Christmas Feeeeeever

If you’ve read my previous post, some of you will know that I’ve alluded to my love of Christmas.
Lets get one thing straight: winter is my favorite season. Ever.
That’s right; I, Andy, am a Christmas-holic. I’m addicted to Christmas.
Not just the day, really. The whole season. The anticipation of small children for the arrival of a fat guy who gives them stuff. The sales (oh, the sales!), the cocoa, the warm clothes… It’s all so perfect. Because I live in a warmer climate I don’t get to see snow often, but snow is the greatest thing ever produced by nature.
I can’t even begin to describe how much I love walking my dog out in the brisk winter air. Fall is the second best season, of course, because it signals the impending winter. Like winter, it gets chilly outside and I can wear my favorite sweaters without dying of a heat stroke.
Definitely a bonus.
There will probably be more of my Christmas-induced lunacy later on, but for now this is all.
Love you guys! 🙂
~Andy

Catching up

Hey everyone. Oh my, it has been a while since my last post. So… What’s new?
As we’re right on the tails of the beginning of the (much anticipated?) fall season, things are changing, as they always do around this time. Leaves are falling from their mother trees and onto the soft earth beneath them, students are back in school, and I, for one, can’t wait until Christmas. Last year, Ami and I made plates of Christmas cookies for our peers and I’m anxious to do that again this year. We had a great time making cookies last year, especially the dinosaur sugar cookies (pictures to come) and the almond-bark-dipped candy canes.
You all can look forward to a plethora of posts as it gets closer to Christmas, because I am a complete Christmas nut. Most of them, I anticipate, will be about cookies.
Otherwise, not too much has changed. Ami and I have some amendments to our road trip plans, but all in all we’re still the same people.

“Once we rid ourselves of traditional thinking we can get on with creating the future.” — James Bertrand

This theme came up in my English class. I’m seeing themes in all of my classes pop up everywhere I glance. But… I truly love this. Alos, who is this James Bertrand? I don’t know him. I can’t find him?

I don’t even know why I’m asking. I have no real reason to be curious excepting that my mind wandered and desired such knowledge. But I suppose it’s in part because recently I’ve been wanting to know more… I’ve been greedy for knowledge.

Hey guys. :)

So… we’ve abandoned the blog a bit. Also… I think we’ve also abandoned the ideas related to traveling for now. We’re still trying to figure our lives out. I… I’m not sure what else I should say yet. I’m going to talk to my goofy brunette freind. 😀
